Crsp data manual

This manual is intended as a guide to those support personnel who are involved with the installation, observing support, and troubleshooting of CRSP. It is not an operating manual for the instrument, and is complementary to the CRSP User's Manual in that it covers aspects of CRSP which are not of concern to the user. This manual provides guidance and suggestions on rock slope design with the aid of Colorado Rockfall Simulation Program (CRSP). It encompasses the field data collection, program input data selection and typical run interpretation. In this manual, the suggested procedures are. CRSP expends considerable resources in the ongoing effort to check and improve data quality both historically, and in each current update. Data corrections to historical information are made as errors are identified and are detailed in the release notes that accompany each data cut.

The CRSP Data Files were developed by the Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP), Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. Lawrence Fisher and James Lorie, during their tenure at the University of Chicago, built the CRSP stock file and originated its basic design and content. The original CRSP stock file contained month-end prices.
